How do I use Klarna?
If your order is eligible, the option to pay through Klarna will show at checkout. A code will be sent via text to verify your phone number. After confirming your identity, you will be prompted to create an account. Once you enter your credit or debit card information, Klarna will provide you with a virtual card number that you will enter in the ‘Credit Card’ section at checkout. For each future purchase, once you confirm your identity, Klarna will provide you with a unique virtual card number that you will enter at checkout and which is backed by your saved payment method.
How do I pay?
The credit or debit card you designated to create your account will be used to make automatic payments every two weeks. Expect no interest or fees when you pay on time. The initial payment is charged when we complete your order (this is usually the shipping date). The next 3 installment payments are automatically charged every 2 weeks after your first payment. We will provide notice within 2 days after each installment payment confirming that you have paid the installment amount due.
What happens if I can't pay on time?
Sometimes you might need more time to pay – we completely understand! Depending on the payment method you’ve chosen when making the purchase, you might have the option to change the due date of your statement and pay later. Log in to the Klarna app or click here to select the statement you would like to pay later and see if the option is available for that purchase. If not, then it is not possible to change the date for that statement.
What happens if I pay later? Will I be charged for paying late?
If we are unable to collect a payment on the scheduled day, we will try again. If the payment is unsuccessful after a second attempt, a late fee of up to $7 will be added to your outstanding balance. Missed payments will be added to the total of the next scheduled payment. To keep you in the loop, Klarna will send you an email notification if your payment was unsuccessful. Please keep in mind if payments get unpaid, you might be blocked from using this payment option in the future.
When you choose to pay with Klarna, a soft credit check may be performed. This type of check will not impact your credit score, and it will not show up as a hard inquiry on your credit report.
Klarna is not available in our retail stores and can only be used online. Because of this, Klarna can not be chosen for Buy Online Pick Up In-Store. It is also not available when using Auto-Replenishment or purchasing a gift card.
If you return your goods, we will automatically reduce the amount you owe us. If you already paid us for a refunded order, we will refund the balance back to your original payment method.
